Title VI is a federal program administered by Stillwater Public Schools. The primary goal of the program is to increase the math and reading levels of students of Native American descent. The students themselves do not have to be an enrolled member of the tribe, but their parent or grandparent must be enrolled. To be a part of the program, students must have a 506 form on file that has been completed by their parent/guardian. This form only needs to be completed once and it remains in effect as long as the student attends Stillwater Public Schools. If your student is of Native American descent and you want them to be included in the program, please fill out the 506 form on-line.

Goals and Objectives for the Program:
- Increase academic success and achievement
- Increase educational opportunities
- Provide supplemental academic services for all grades
- Encourage parent participation
- Increase communication between school and home
- Improve daily attendance
- Improve the graduation rate for Native students
- Connect families to tribal resources including connecting and supporting cultural events through Stillwater Public Schools

- Tutoring services – available at all SPS sites
- N7 Youth Movement Day at OSU (3rd – 8th)
- Battle of the Books Competition (4th grade students)
- Summer Camp (Native Games Camp for 1st – 4th grades)
- Summer Camp (STEM for 5th – 8th grades)
- Indigenous Peoples Club (SMS, SJHS, SHS)
- Women in Science Conference
- Challenge Bowl Competition – sponsored by the Oklahoma Council of Indian Education (OCIE)
- Oklahoma Indian Student Honor Society
- Field Trips (cultural and education trips)
- College and Career Information (Fall and Spring College Nights)
- Native College Fairs – sponsored by collaborating tribes
Q. Who Qualifies?
A. Any student who is an enrolled member of a tribe OR has a parent or grandparent who is an enrolled member of a tribe.
Q. How Does My Child Enroll?
A. Just complete the Title VI 506 form and scan or print a copy of the CDIB
