Board of Education
The Stillwater Board of Education, comprised of five elected and unpaid volunteers representing specific wards of the community, governs Stillwater Public Schools. They meet monthly to sets policies, approve the district budget, oversee personnel (including hiring the superintendent), and ensures schools meet state and federal education standards.

Addressing the Board at a Meeting
The Stillwater Board of Education meets in regular session on the second Tuesday of the month. Patrons who wish to address the school board during meetings with public comments included on the agenda are required to submit form BED-E to Tawni Hooten, Clerk of the Board of Education prior to the meeting.
