About Our Town
A Very Special Place to Live
Life in Stillwater—America’s Friendliest College Town—blends small-town charm with big-city amenities.
Home to about 50,000 residents, Stillwater sits just an hour from both Oklahoma City and Tulsa and serves as the cultural, educational, economic, and athletic hub of north central Oklahoma.
There’s always something to do in Stillwater—outdoor recreation; world-class performances at the McKnight Center; exciting Pioneer and Oklahoma State athletics.
