When attending away athletic events, spectators can generally expect many schools to follow similar guidelines, including:

Student Entry & Supervision:
All school-age students must be affiliated with a participating school unless accompanied by an adult (i.e. Stillwater students should not attend a Norman vs. Moore game). Elementary and middle school students are generally expected to attend with a parent/guardian. Secondary students should bring and display a valid school ID for entry.

Cheering & Seating:
Students not sitting with a parent/guardian may be required to stay in designated student cheering sections. All fans should remain in the stands on their school’s side of the stadium or arena and cheer positively.

Re-entry:
Most schools do not allow re-entry once you leave the facility.

Tickets & Payment:
Fans should have tickets ready for entry. Some schools use digital tickets or cashless concessions, so plan accordingly.

Items:
Backpacks and large bags are not permitted; small purses or baby bags may be searched. Some schools require all bags to be clear. Outside food, drinks, and athletic equipment (such as footballs or basketballs) are typically not allowed. Noisemakers, confetti, and powder poppers are usually prohibited. Tobacco, vaping devices, alcohol, weapons, and laser pointers are strictly banned.

Conduct & Safety:
Inappropriate behavior can result in removal from the event and loss of future attendance privileges. Loitering in concourses, aisles, parking lots, or open areas is usually prohibited. Only authorized personnel are allowed on the sidelines. Unsportsmanlike conduct toward officials, coaches, players, or other fans is not tolerated.

Event Operations & Emergency Procedures:
Gates generally open one hour before game time. Fans should remain in the stands to enjoy the event and follow staff instructions during weather delays, emergencies, or other safety situations.

See Something, Say Something:
If you notice suspicious behavior, report it immediately to event staff or security.
