Tips & Tricks for Scholarships!

Oklahoma state law requires students to complete and submit the FAFSA in order to graduate from high school.

A parent/guardian or student (over 18)  may choose to opt out of this requirement by completing this state provided

Oklahoma's Promise is administered through the Oklahoma Regents for Higher Education and offers qualified Oklahoma students an opportunity to earn a scholarship for college tuition.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be an Oklahoma resident.
  • Must apply  in the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade (no later than Dec. 31 of the senior year). 
  • Must be a student whose parents' federal adjusted gross income does not exceed:

    • $60,000 with 1 or 2 dependent children OR

    • $70,000 with 3 or 4 dependent children OR

    • $80,000 with 5 or more dependent children.
