SPS Names Support Employees of the Year
(Stillwater, Oklahoma, April 7, 2025)Last week, Stillwater Public Schools recognized seven outstanding staff members as Support Employees of the Year in various categories across the district. Following a district-wide nomination process and voting open to all SPS employees, the following individuals were selected for their exceptional service:
- April Bales – Custodian (Stillwater High School) – Custodial
- Rhett Bryan – Mechanic – Transportation
- Kristin Carter – Paraprofessional (Westwood) – Special Services
- Tabetha Curtis-Passmore – Health Room Office Assistant (Will Rogers) – Office/Clerical
- Molly Flowers – Elementary Cafeteria Manager (Richmond) – School Nutrition Services
- Conner Hoang – Computer Specialist I – District-Wide Support (Facilities/Technology)
- Tabatha Watkins – Library Media Assistant (Will Rogers) – Education Support
“These incredible employees have distinguished themselves through their dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to our schools,” said Acting Superintendent Dr. Janet Vinson. “From transportation and food services to facilities, technology, and direct classroom support, these staff members provide essential services that keep our schools running smoothly. Their contributions ensure that Stillwater Public Schools not only functions but thrives. Congratulations to all of this year’s honorees!”
A selection committee will interview these seven employees to determine the District Support Employee of the Year, who will be announced at the May 13 Stillwater Board of Education meeting. All seven honorees will be recognized at the event for their invaluable contributions to our schools.
