Summer Camp from 22nd May to 10th August.

5 to 12 years old - 7:45am to 5:00pm

 

Topics covered during each week of Summer camp:

Basic principles of Art | Drawing techniques | Exploration of different mediums | Introduction to theater and working on a skit to perform at the end of the week | Fun games focused on building self confidence | Introduction to pottery.

You can choose one week or multiple weeks. Each week the lessons on art techniques will vary. The students repeating the weeks will get more exposure to art styles and techniques. 

Special Focus of the week:

Week 1 (22nd - 26th May): Messy Art Camp: Focus on the explorations of materials, colors, textures, art recipes and all squishy-gooey-messy stuff kids love to get their hands on.

Week 2 (29th - 2nd June): Mythical Creatures: Learn about mythical creatures and create your own amazing artworks inspired by fantastical stories.

Week 3 (5th - 9th June): Watercolor: Learn to paint with watercolors and new techniques will be taught each day.

Week 4 (12th - 16th June): Doodles and character drawing: Learn the basics in creating your own doodles. We demonstrate the technique, and guide you in finding your own unique style of doodling.

Week 5 (19th - 23rd June): Seascape, landscapes and more: Learning composition, foreground vs. background, negative vs positive space.

Week 6 (26th - 30th June): Flora and Fauna: Learn to draw flowers, fruits and foliage.

Week 7 (3rd - 7th July): Plush toys and hand knitting: Learn to make plush toys, needle work and drawing furry animals.

Week 8 (10th - 14th July): Explore the outer space: Combine the fun aspects of space and art to capture the wonders of the universe on your canvas.

Week 9 (17th - 21st July): Claymation and 3D Art: Learn the basics of animation and bring your concepts to life.

Week 10 (24th - 28th July): Messy Art Camp: Focus on the explorations of materials, colors, textures, art recipes and all squishy-gooey-messy stuff kids love to get their hands on.

Week 11 (31st - 4th August): Acrylic Painting: Students will paint large canvases in acrylic paints each day. They will learn the process of drawing large scale and layering paints to get the finished look each day.

Single days (8-10th August): Art Explorations: Single day camps will be devoted to art explorations. The projects will be decided as per the number of kids attending. Each day kids will be doing 3 art projects, pottery explorations and sword fighting techniques. These single days are packed with fun activities and are perfect to get them excited to start school.

 

All the campers take canvas painting and other artwork home at the end of the day. Summer camp shirts are available to buy at the studio for $20 each and campers are required to wear their shirts every Friday. Fridays at 4:30pm, all campers will be performing the skit and music they learnt throughout the week. Parents are welcome to attend with family and friends.
Campers are required to bring their lunch, snack and water.
