Stillwater Public Schools Names New Assistant Director of Technology
(Stillwater, Oklahoma, 4/16/2024) The Stillwater Board of Education approved Charles Krajacic as the new Assistant Director of Technology for Stillwater Public Schools at an April 9 meeting. The position has been unfilled since the previous assistant director Bryan Bloomer was promoted to the director role in July of 2023.
“I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to continue my journey in this new role at Stillwater Public Schools,” says Krajicic.
A graduate of Bryant High School in Bryant, Arkansas, Krajacic attended Francis Tuttle Technology Center where he studied internet technologies. His career includes working for KFOR Channel 4, time spent as an engineer assistant at OSU, and as a systems coordinator for Continental Concrete. In 2015 Krajacic joined SPS as a computer specialist. While moving up the ranks of the department, he’s worked to implement and support a wide variety of projects throughout the district.
The new assistant director says he enjoys seeking best solutions and prides himself on assisting his coworkers and district employees quickly and with a friendly demeanor. “I’m curious by nature, and I’m looking forward to using that curiosity to find new and better ways my team and I can serve the staff, teachers, and students.”
The district recently launched a 1 to 1 device intuitive and is working to expand and continually improve technology systems, use, and training throughout the district. “I’m most excited about the new opportunities and overcoming the new challenges it is going to bring,” says Krajacic. “I like to solve problems.”
In his spare time Krajacic enjoys traveling, camping, building computers, video games, and videography and photography, including the use of drones.
“Charles brings with him nearly ten years of experience in the Technology Department to his new role,” says Director of Technology Bryan Bloomer. “I have been impressed with the effort and intentionality he puts into fostering relationships with seemingly everyone in the district. I’ve personally seen staff and students alike break into a smile as soon as they see Charles has come to visit their site. As Assistant Director, I love how Charles pairs a growth mindset with a servant’s heart, and I am excited to work alongside him to meet the needs of our students and staff through technology.”
