Mrs. Jackson is another fantastic leader in our district who I'm excited to learn from and collaborate with in my new role.”

Principal Ryan Blake says he’s excited to have Riggs join the team. “It will be great to be working with Jason Riggs again. His experience with this age group of students and the couple years before and after will serve him well. He knows where they’ve been and where they are going educationally. We’ll miss Mr. Treat, and wish him the best at SHS, but we’re happy to welcome Mr. Riggs into our middle school family.”

Riggs and wife Andi have two boys, Theo and Oliver who is entering seventh grade at the middle school. “As a parent I've gotten to watch the impact the teachers and staff have on their students and I look forward to being a part of that team,” Riggs says.

He says he’s looking forward to continuing his work with students as they enter into this  transitional stage of their education, saying, “Coming out of elementary school and beginning to forge their own path is an important and exciting time for students. I'm looking forward to an incredible year!”
