Why Work Should Be Fun

Is having fun at work important? According to this article (Nelson, B. 2022, May 2nd, Why Work Should Be Fun, Harvard Business Review), the answer is an obvious “Yes”!

Job Fair Successes

Many thanks to the staff and administrators who worked to make our recent attendance and hosting of job fairs a success.

Expiring Teacher Certificates

Please remember to update any expiring teaching certificates. The Department of Education is no longer mailing a physical copy, you must print or download from Single Sign On. Please email or inter-school a copy of your new certificate to Gale Henry, Administrative Assistant. This will notify HR that it has been taken care of.

Paraprofessionals

  • Congratulations to all of our Paraprofessionals who earned their Para certification through the Oklahoma State Department of Education! This achievement requires many hours of workbooks, videos, studying, and tests, and you should all be commended for your hard work.  If you are a Paraprofessional and have not earned your Para certification, call the HR or SPED office, and we’ll be happy to help you.

Thank you

  • Thank you for all your patience as we rolled out Frontline Time and Attendance and switched a large group of our employees over to Frontline Absence Management. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to Jacklyn Ahrens, our Benefits Specialist.

“Many thanks for clocking in each morning and continuing to serve the students and be a part of the Stillwater Public Schools Family! Please keep on keeping on!

          - Dr. Trent J. Swanson, Chief Human Resources Officer
