Welcome to Stillwater Junior High School! SJHS is an exciting place to be as our eighth and ninth grade Pioneers continue their journey toward graduation. Our students are exposed to more course options and more opportunities than ever before in their school career. Numerous electives and twenty-two student organizations help our students learn more about themselves and their interests. Ninth grade students in athletics, band, advanced courses, and other activities will frequently travel to SHS to allow them to participate at the high school level typically associated with their age group. We're proud to continue enriching the Stillwater student experience with top notch academics, athletics, and arts!

Crystal Szymanski
cszymanski@stillwaterschools.comMrs. Szymanski joined SJHS as the Principal in the fall of 2020, following six years as Principal at Chisholm Middle School in Enid.
“In every situation, I try to do what's best for kids," she says, "because all students deserve the best educational experience we can give them.”
Szymanski brings a systematic approach and proven methods of professional development and instruction to the school. "It's important," she says, "to use thoughtful analysis of data to make decisions that allow for proper planning of needed intervention and enrichment for students.”
Szymanski began her education career as a language arts and social studies teacher in Garber Public Schools where she taught for five years, followed by another five teaching at Chisholm before transitioning into the role of Principal. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in secondary education along with a Master's in Education Leadership, all from Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
