Red Ribbon Week Contests

  • Join in on the fun with Stillwater's Red Ribbon Week Contests. Create a poster or color a design to help encourage other Pioneers to be drug-free to protect themselves and their brains. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, we have loads of prizes to give away including Ultimate Air Jump, Carmike Movie Theatre, Lost Creek Safari, and Frontier Lanes Passes.  Other prizes include:  Kicker Bluetooth Headphones, Eskimo Joe's Cheese Fries, Karaoke Machines, Scooters, Board Games and more! The deadline to enter is October 31st, so get creative and get started to win!

    Winners:  Winners will be announced Tuesday, November 5th.  Winners will be given prizes the same day (or as soon as possible) and have photos taken to be shared on social media (if allowed) and winning entries may be used to make posters for SPS. All entries may be used to create content for social media or the school unless otherwise requested.


PreK- 2nd Grade Coloring Contest

  • Theme R.E.D. (Really Excellent Decisions) Coloring Sheet. You may use any coloring tool or combination of tools that you wish. i.e., crayons, markers, colored pencils, gel pens, highlighters, etc.

    • Deadline to turn in entries is October 31st, 2024 by 12:00 pm
    • Entries must contain:  first & last name, grade level, and name of school on the back of the coloring entry.
    •  Entries must be original work of student
    • Please check with your school for turn in locations.

3rd-5th Grade Poster Contest

  • Design a poster that encourages making good choices and staying drug free. Posters should be submitted on at least 8½” × 11″ inch paper or poster board. Larger sizes will be allowed. Posters will be judged on creativity, eye-catching design, information presented, and overall appeal to peers. Individual entries only.

    • Deadline to turn in entries is October 31st, 2024 by 12:00 pm.
    • Entries must contain:  first & last name, grade level, and name of school on the back of the poster.
    • Entries must be original work of student
    • Please check with your school for turn in locations.

6th-7th Grade Poster Contest

  • Theme: Choose Drug Free.  Create something that will encourage other Pioneers to be Drug-Free, choose not to vape, not to use THC, and protect their brains.  

    Poster Designs: Posters should be submitted on at least 8½” × 11″ inch paper or poster board.  Larger sizes will be allowed. Posters can also be submitted with graphic designs via email to [email protected].  Posters will be judged on creativity, eye-catching design, information presented, and overall appeal to peers. Individual entries only.  

    Rules: The contest is open to all 6th & 7th grade students.  

    • Deadline to turn in entries is October 31st, 2024 by 12:00pm.  
    • Entries must contain first & last name and grade on the back of the poster or in the body of the email for emailed entries.
    • Entries must be original work of student
    • Posters can be turned into the guidance office or the SPVA office.

8th-9th Grade Poster Contest

  • Theme: Live Drug Free
    Every day SJHS students make significant contributions to their communities and school by being the best they can be because they live Drug-Free!  Create something that will encourage other Pioneers to be Drug-Free and protect their brain.

    Poster Designs:  Posters should be submitted on at least 8½” × 11″ inch paper or poster board.  Larger sizes will be allowed. Posters can also be submitted with graphic designs via email to [email protected].  Posters will be judged on creativity, eye-catching design, information presented, and overall appeal to peers. Individual entries only.  
    Rules:  The contest is open to all 8th & 9th grade students.  

    • Deadline to turn in entries is October 31st, 2024 by 12:00pm.  
    • Entries must contain first & last name and grade on the back of the poster or in the body of the email for emailed entries.
    • Entries must be original work of student
    • Posters can be turned into the Guidance Office or the SPVA Office.

10th-12th Grade Poster Contest

  • Theme: Be a Positive Influence: Live Drug Free
    Design/Create a poster for Elementary students to be displayed at their schools.  Think of messages that would educate, warn, and be age appropriate for them to see.

    Poster Designs:
    Posters should be submitted on at least 8½” × 11″ inch paper or poster board.  Larger sizes will be allowed. Posters can also be submitted with graphic designs via email to [email protected].  Posters will be judged on creativity, eye catching design, information presented, and overall appeal to peers. Individual entries only.   

    • The contest is open to all 10th, 11th, & 12th grade students.  
    • Deadline to turn in entries is October 30th, 2023 by 4:00 pm.  
    • Entries must contain first & last name and grade on the back of the poster or in the body of the email for emailed entries.
    • Entries must be original work of student
    • Turn in location:
      • SHS = Guidance Office
      • Lincoln = Front Office
      • SPVA = Front Office
